Thanks for meeting with J. and me yesterday. Your comforting manner and professionalism make this unpleasant experience much easier.
Edward and Johanna,
We just wanted to take a minute to thank you for all you've done. Sorry it wasn't quite as simple as I expected. It's nice to be able to breathe again.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:
My name is T.S. and you represented my husband J.S., Jr. back in 2007. Recently, I contacted your office for help regarding a problem with my husband’s previous case and I was directed to one of your employees, named Johanna Olin.
I would like to commend you on your choice of employees and just let you know that Ms. Olin has not only been helpful, thorough and courteous, but she has managed to keep a good sense of humor regarding our nightmare.
Ms. Olin’s helpfulness and attentiveness to our needs has been absolutely outstanding.
I myself was a previous business owner and had several employees. I truly wished that one of my previous employee’s had been as competent as Ms. Olin.
I appreciate all that your firm is doing to help my husband and I during this trying time and I especially appreciate all the help that we have received from Ms. Olin. That girl deserves a raise!!
I had a consultation with you on Tuesday, August 17 and was referred by B. C., Esq. Just wanted to sincerely thank you for your legal expertise and guidance. You were patient and explained every question I had so that I understood my situation clearly. My only regret is that I didn't know of your practice until this year. However, I will certainly refer you to others.

I was a teacher in Northern Virginia. I moved here after divorcing my husband of ten years. The cost of moving from overseas plus the debt we incurred from his disability had left me in tremendous debt which I could no longer handle. I researched debt consolidation programs, but bankruptcy seemed like the only way to get relief from this burden. I very much appreciated meeting with you to determine my eligibility. Filing under Chapter 13 has permitted me to pay down back taxes, get rid of other debt, and get bankruptcy court protection so I can get my life back. Thank you.

Dear Attorney Gonzalez,
I am sending you this email to thank you for your kind help and assistance in regards to my bankruptcy. I believe that I have been very blessed by the Lord God to have been discharged of this endeavor. I am particularly so thankful that you have Johanna in your office. She had made this obstacle of mine so much easier to bear and accept. As you can see, I have worked really hard in my passed to be financially independent and to support my two children on my own. But this trial came to my life, and if not for my faith in God, and His assistance in finding people such as you and Jo, I know it would have been so much difficult to carry on. Jo's personality and sincerity truly help me get through this whole process. I felt so consoled and comfortable with her. And you, you have been very kind and calm through it all and it made me feel I was in good hands. Thank you so much again and may God Bless you always,

Thank you for the kind words. I try to make sure that the folks who work in our shop remember that people in bankruptcy are going through a very rough time – garnishments, creditor calls, threatening letters. It can seem like the world is crashing down on them. So I emphasize that it’s important that everyone be treated with respect. That we be completely honest. And that we make sure the client understands what is going on, what we are doing, and why we are doing it. Thanks again, and all the best in your new financial life.
